[The Disturbance]

Sounds amazing!

Although, as a dark counterpart to Surface, I feel like in that the different parts in the song with the techno and the calmer string parts were more distinct and memorable on their own, while still fitting together. Could always also just be a result of the fact that I've heard Surface so many times before :)

Overall a fantastic piece, 5/5! :D

[Sakura Memories]

Holy cow, this is beautiful. The start is very calming, and it fits really well. When the beat kicks in, it's absolutely amazing. The singers in this are great! If I had to say something negative, maybe there's a bit too much high-end on the guitar? Really, this is honestly just perfect. When the beat rises back up at 3:13 it's honestly just breath-taking. Haven't heard a song this good in NG in a long while!

[Strings]

Sounds interesting to say the least. I like the melody, it's pretty groovy, although the mix is not that good. Too much high-end. I really like the plucky sound at 00:32, although the melody it plays does not feel to work harmonically with the rest of the song. Overall, nice.

[Rain]

Again, really strange harmonies (melody, chord progression, etc.). It doesn't really work, you should study music theory or something to try to get the hang of it :) Otherwise, pretty cool. I don't really like the bhwoom sound that's played every 16 beats, it should have more reverb to it and be quieter.

[Repetition]

Really weird harmonies, but I like the main bleep bloop sound, although it could use more reverb and delay. The bass is way too loud, you should at least EQ it down a bit. The synth that kicks in at 0:48 is not that good.

Overall, 2.5/5. If it had better melodies, I'd give a higher score :)

I'm not sure what I think about the hi-hat sound at the start, but it's ok.

I like the sweeping filter that starts at 0:20. I think there should be more quiet yet still noticable quick drums and sweeps and sound effects all around to make it sound less loop-y. A bit of panning variation wouldn't hurt either.

I like your basses, they are very punchy and deep. Overall your sound designs is very nice. Your mix is very clean too, although you should turn the overall level down a bit.

The main problem is variation. I think a lot of small, yet noticable additions here and there like I mentioned before would really add a touch to the song. 8 minutes of basically the same looping bass with an ethnic instrument loop filtering in and long sweeps is kinda tedious. This would work quite well as a background song for a videogame or something though, I'll give you that 100%.

Overall, really nice! 4.5/5 :)
